The electro acoustic section continues with three further electric acoustic instruments: two hollow body versions of the Mark series guitars, the Vox Wyman bass and Vox Spitfire VI; and Vox Folk 12 Electric jumbo flattop.
The Vox Wyman bass is described as follows:
Stones bassist Bill Wyman wanted 'something good' so VOX built a fine semi-acoustic, rugged and trendy, incorporating all the features of the Spitfire model, but with exclusive bass pick-ups. Low-set string action guarantees speed and ease of playing bass passages.
April 1967 prices (UK, pre-decimalisation) were as follows: Wyman bass, £74 11s 0d; Spitfire VI, £85 4s 0d; Folk 12 electric, £45 0s 0d.
