This page shows three different electric acoustic models representing the various plants producing Vox guitars at this time. The Vox Super Lynx, and Cougar bass are both Italian instruments, the examples pictured produced by Eko and Crucianelli respectively. The third guitar, the Vox Spitfire XII is British, evident by its Watkins neck. The Spitfire should not be confused with the solid-body Vox Spitfire being produced by Eko for the American market at this time.
April 1967 prices (UK, pre-decimalisation) were as follows: Super Lynx, unlisted; Cougar bass, £69 4s 6d; Spitfire XII, £94 10s 0d.
