Vox 1965 'King of the Beat' catalogue, page 10. Two Vox amps are shown here, both British-built models, re-badged with suitably British names: the Vox Buckingham (AC-30 SRT - super reverb twin) and Royal Guardsman (AC-50). In due course these amps would be made by Thomas Organ in California.
The Vox Royal Guardsman is described as follows:
VOX 100 watt peak power model with a built-in "glass-shattering" treble and full, deep tone bass. A versatile unit due to the wide frequency range covered by the dual channels. Rugged two channel amplifier with four high impedance inputs of two per channel. Complementing speaker cabinet houses two 12" VOX rugged speakers and one special metal top frequency horn, with crossover network. Waterproof cover supplied.
