The final Selmer catalogue listing of the Hofner Verithin electric acoustic guitar. The majority of Hofner guitars since the 1967 Selmer catalogue are described as being fitted with Hofner bar pickups - and the Verithin is no exception, but typically images are of older guitars equipped with Nova-Sonic 'staple' pickups. The majority of guitar images in this 1971 catalogue have finally been updated and show the (now not-so-new) bar pickups. The Verithin is an exception, and uses the same image as used in the 1968 Hofner catalogue.
Designed to give the dramatic effect so popular today. Look at these fabulous features! Now fitted with two Hofner high-efficiency bar pick-ups for unequalled performance. Elegant yet functional "Slenda-nek" – designed for easy playing and improved good looks, individual machine heads, adjustable Micro-matic bridge and smooth-action mother-of-pearl inlaid fretboard. Available in glorious cherry red finish with cambered rosewood fingerboard and nickel-silver frets.
