Page 7 details the "big, beautiful, new Epiphone solid electric bass", with UK Rosetti model designation EPI 9526. The UK model names at this time relate to an earlier series of very similar guitars distributed by Rosetti (also manufactured by Matsumoku in Japan) under their own Eros branding; in the USA (circa 1970/71) this bass was known as the Epiphone 1820 - by mid 1972 it had been given the universal name Epiphone ET-280.
Note the bass shown on this page has the typical Epiphone two-sided 2+2 headstock arrangement. Compare this with the earlier example shown in the 1970 Epiphone / Rosetti catalogue, with a single-sided Fender-style headstock - a short-lived feature only appearing on a few mid-late 1970 instruments.
The description of this bass, however, remains unchanged from the previous catalogue:
Modern deep cutaway design, high gloss cherry-red finish, three-piece adjustable neck, Rosewood fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, two powerful bass pickups, pickup selector switch, volume control, tone control, adjustable bridge, foam rubber mute. Chrome plated parts
Likewise, the list price remains unchanged from the 1970 launch at £59.75.
