Epiphone Solid Body Electric. The EPI 9525 (initially launched in the US as model 1802T, but later known as the ET-270) was a Stratocaster-styled offset solid-body electric guitar, manufactured for Epiphone by Matsumoku in Japan. Note the guitar shown here has the typical Epiphone two-sided 3+3 headstock arrangement. Compare this guitar with the example shown in the previous Epiphone / Rosetti catalogue from 1970, with a single-sided Fender-style headstock.
The description of this guitar, however, remains unchanged:
Modern deep cutaway design, high gloss cherry-red finish, three piece low action adjustable neck, Rosewood fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, two powerful pickups, pickup selector switch, tone switch, volume control, tone control. Chrome plated parts
Likewise, the list price remains unchanged from the 1970 launch at £52.
