Page 5 details two Epiphone electric acoustic models: the "magnificent new Epiphone electric acoustic" EPI 9520 six string guitar and the "splendid new Epiphone electric acoustic bass" EPI 9521, both manufactured by Matsumoku in Japan. These names have derived from older Matsumoku-supplied instruments distributed by Rosetti (branded Eros) that were discontinued when the Epiphone models were introduced. In the USA these guitars were launched as models 5102T and 5120 respectively, however from mid-1972 they were known worldwide as the EA-250 and EA-260.
Both the text and images used on this page are identical to that of pages 4 and 5 of the 1970 Rosetti Epiphone brochure.
The 1971 list prices for these guitars are unchanged from 1970 and are as follows: Epiphone 9520 £62.25; Epiphone 69521 bass £71.25.
