This is a vintage 1973 Rickenbacker 4000 bass with a Mapleglo finish. Introduced in 1957, the 4000 was the first Rick bass model made. It's rare, simple, no frills, get-up-and-go design, with a set neck and a single bridge pickup. It's body is 2-piece maple, and its neck the classic 3 piece neck with headstock wings.
