This combined bridge/tailpiece was fitted to a number of solid body basses produced at the Matsumoku guitar factory, Matsumoto Japan; from the mid/late 1960s to the mid 1970s. This facility produced guitars for export around the world, and this bridge appeared on basses branded: Aria (1820), Commodore (N180), Conrad, Domino, Dorado (5988), Epiphone (1802T / ET-280, ET-285), Eros (9526), Ventura (V-1900) - and most likely many more.
Dimensions: bridge bass plate 75mm wide; two 40mm cross head intonation screws (round head); four 18mm slot head height adjustment grub screws; saddles 36mm x 8mm (max).
Although a solid, heavy duty bridge, and fairly adjustable, the short distance between the base plate and the saddles necessitates the use of strings without silk windings at the ball end (unlike in the pictures here! Look at the E string in the image below specifically).
