This is certainly one of the earliest (if not the earliest) guitar catalogs from Hohner London. It does not include their very earliest models (Hohner Kingsway, Hohner Holborn etc) but does include the majority of other guitars available from them in mid 1961. It is undated, however prices are a shade lower than in advertising from May 1961, so it is logical to assume this was printed in the very first months of that year. This British catalog was distributed by Bell musical Instruments (Surbiton, Surrey), and contained a number of instruments made for Hohner by other manufacturers: acoustics, hollow body electrics, solid body electrics, one bass, two banjos and two amplifiers. The solid bodies were made by UK furiture manufacturer Stuart Darkins, and assembled by Fenton Weill (with mostly Fenton Weill hardware amd pickups), in the UK. The manufacturer of the electric acoustics is less clear, though most likely German in origin.
All of these models were short lived; in late summer 1962, Hohner focused their attentions on a new distribution deal with American guitar manufacturer Kay.
