Hagstrom 1966 guitar catalog, page 14. Left hand side of double page spread - details of the semi-acoustic Viking guitar and Concord bass. This catalog was produced by US distributor Merson for the US market. The names Viking and Concord are not actually used here, just the initials, V-1, V-2, C-1, C-2 etc. There are four versions of the Viking described here: the V-1 (chrome hardware, dot inlays) and V-2 (gold hadware, block inlays); but also the same guitars with special Bigsby "Golden-tone" vibrato: VB-1 and VB-2. The bass models are the C-1 (chrome hardware, dot inlays) and C-2 (gold hadware, block inlays). 1966 list prices in the United States were: V-1 $250; VB-1 $299.50; C-1 bass $260; V-2 $425; VB-2 $499.50; C-2 bass $435.
The images of these guitars are shown on the following page.
