Details of the Guild S-25, S-250 and S-275. All three guitars were similar looking, and fitted with the same basic hardware: bridge, tailpiece, pickups, tuning keys. There were, obviously differences, in some cases quite subtle. The Guild S-275 was very much aimed at the Gibson Les Paul market "..stacks up against any of the classics" - with its maple capped mahogany body construction. The S-250 and S-25 differed primarily in their control layout: S-250 has two volume one tone; S-25 has one volume one tone.
A double cutaway that we think stacks up against any of the "classics" that are on the market. Maple top, mahogany back, three piece maple neck, 24 fret ebony fingerboard. Guild XR-7 pickups with gold plated covers. Two volume, one master tone control. Pickup selector switch, with your choice of phase or coil tap as standard equipment. Gold plated Guild SP-6G tailpiece and gold plated Adjusto-matic bridge, Deluxe Guild tuning machines (gold plated of course) are also standard. Definite superiority in tonal range over comparable instruments.
