Page 15 shows a Guild Copicat - a rebranded WEM Copicat, developed and produced in the UK by WEM. In June 1968, the E-3 Guild Copicat had a US list price of $189.50.
The only device of its kind made in England, the Copicat is widely employed in the U.S.A. by groups seeking to adapt the Liverpool and other English sounds. Copicat provides 7 basically different effects, but many variations are possible with ingenious application. Surprising results can be achieved with combinations of halo, echo and repeat. (The reverb control can vary the number of repeats from one to 20.) Many vocal tricks and sound effects, such as surf pounding the shore, can be achieved with this unique device.
