The 1965 Gretsch catalog "For The Spectacular Sound of the Times" (or catalog no. 32) featured the the entire Gretsch range of electric semi-acoustic guitars and basses, solid bodies, acoustics, and amplifiers over 24 pages, with pride of place going to the Chet Atkins range of hollow bodies. Included are 14 electric guitars, 9 acoustic guitars, 1 bass and 12 amplifiers.
The catalog is printed with a mix of full color (six sides) and two color print (18 sides). Dimensions 28cm x 21cm. It is dated 1965 on the first page.
New models include the Gretsch Viking and Astro Jet, the former remaining in the Gretsch line into the 1970s; the latter short-lived, making it's only appearance in this catalog.
