Gibson 1975 Les Paul catalogue. Page 7. Right hand page of a double page spread on the Les Paul Recording guitar and Triumph bass. These were two of Gibson's low-impedance models, along with the Signature guitar and bass shown on the previous two pages. White was a new finish for the Triumph, and this was the first time it was shown in a Gibson catalogue - note that it was also included on page eight of the equivalent bass catalogue.
This would also be the last time that the Recording guitar would be shown with the control 'arc' - within a year the control panel would be redesigned with volume, treble, bass and decade controls in a straight line, and two outputs replacing the single output and hi/lo impedance switch.
January 1975 US prices for these models were: Les Paul Recording guitar $699; Les Paul Triumph bass $679.
