The ES-335TD was by far the best selling Gibson thinline in 1970, with 2040 instrument shipped: 794 Cherry (39%), 664 Walnut (33%), 582 Sunburst (28%) - compared to just 403 ES-330s, 373 ES-345s and 135 ES-355s.
March 1970 US zone 1 price of the Gibson ES-335TD was $455, rising to $475 in the September price list of that year.
