Technical resources useful in the repair and maintenance of Gibson RD Standard guitars.
The RD Standard, being completely passive, had a vastly simpler circuit and control layout to the Custom or Artist models - following the traditional Gibson dual pickup arrangement of the SG or Les Paul, it had a three-way pickup selector switch (front/both/back) with a volume and tone control for each. Simple but effective. The potentiometers used are listed as parts 70028 and 70035 -300kΩ and 100kΩ respectively. See summary here). The original schematic is reproduced below.
