Pages 8 and 9 of the '69 Fender catalog make up a double page spread on Fender student instruments / instrument + amp sets - all lined up in a school music room. These are the Champ Set, Duo-Sonic, and Musicmaster (not part of a set) and Studio Deluxe Set - with the Bronco Set, Fender Mustang and fender Mandolin appearing on the opposite page. The descriptions for the instruments pictured here are on page 11.
This was actually the final catalog appearance of the fender Duo-Sonic, a guitar that had been part of the Fender range since 1956.
May 1969 prices for these guitars and sets were as follows: Fender Champ student steel guitar and amp (with case) $199.50; Studio Deluxe steel guitar and amp set (with case) $349.50; Fender Duo-Sonic $189.50; Fender Musicmaster $154.50 (cases for either guitar an additional $37.50).
