This single sided insert gives specifications for the Epiphone FT-155 deluxe jumbo acoustic guitar, produced for Epiphone by Aria, at the Japanese Matsumoku plant. This guitar was not one of the first tranche of Japanese models, but was added to the flattop acoustic range at some point in 1971. The FT-155 was the top-of-the-line acoustic model, and as such was the most expensive acoustic in the June 1972 US price list, at $159.50.
An excitingly new Jumbo Flattop with rich resonant tones that speak the language of music with commanding authority. Traditional natural Spruce top is complimented by highly figured ash rims and back. A masterpiece for the serious musician.
The 'Pick Epiphone' folder, although dated 1971, was filled with inserts printed as early as late 1970, and as late as 1972. This insert comes from the second batch of inserts printed in 1971.
