This single sided insert gives specifications for the new Epiphone EC-20 classic acoustic guitar, produced for Epiphone by Aria, at the Japanese Matsumoku plant.
This was a new model for 1971, expanding the classic acoustic range. Not only was the EC-20 the least expensive classic acoustic, it was also the least expensive guitar in the whole 1971 Epiphone range, with a list price (June 1972) of just $74.50.
A new and exciting addition to our respected Classic series, the EC-20 is outstanding in many respects. An exceptional fine quality instrument featuring matched rosewood back and rims with scrolled gold plated machine heads
The 'Pick Epiphone' folder, although dated 1971, was filled with inserts printed as early as late 1970, and as late as 1972. This insert was an addition to the first series, prepared and printed in 1971. This sheet was replaced with a newer version in late 1971.
This guitar is offered with just one case option, Durabilt case #803, at an additional $14 (June 1972 price).
