Epiphone 1964 full line catalog. Page 9, Epiphone acoustic Spanish guitars. Four acoustic instruments are shown, the Deluxe, Triumph, and Zenith guitars, (the Emperor is not illustrated) and the Venetian mandolin.
These were very nice guitars, especially the Emperor and Deluxe - but all were available by special order only, with an 120 day delivery time. The Emperor in particular was magnificent; only the electric version of the Emperor was more expensive in the Epiphone line. These acoustic Spanish guitars were also all full-bodied guitars, whilst the Electric Emperor was a thinline.
Although all the guitars illustrated are in shaded finish, all except the Zenith were also available with a natural finish too, at a few dollars extra.
