November 1963 British advertisement for the newly upgraded Phantom six string guitar, AC-30 and Foundation bass amps, and the Vox Continental organ.
Vox offered exciting new guitars, great quality amplifiers, and keyboards that defined the sounds of the day. By late 1963, Vox were the name in British instrument manufacture; Selmer made great amps but only stocked other manufacturers guitars, and although WEM made some great amps and guitars, they lacked style, at least compared to models like the Phantom.
...an audience is waiting. Waiting for you and your sound. Whether your target is the Mod or the Rocker, whether the dance is the Twist, the Bird, the Monkey or tomorrow's craze, that audience is there
